Combat Suit
The combat suit was a dark green while certain panels were a dark yellow. The trousers and jacket were separate. The jacket zipped up the front and was made from Kevlar and leather. The trousers were made from the same material and had extra material in the seat and joints. On his hands, he wore dark green leather gauntlets that were thin and made handling the bow and arrows easier. On his feet, were green boots that extended to mid-calf. The hood was dark green and dark yellow and came down to put his face into shadow. Around his eyes, he wore a mid-green war-paint.

“Forty percent of his body’s covered in scar tissue, slightly less for her. Second degree burns on his back and arms – the same for the girl. X-rays show at least 12 fractures, seven for her, that never properly healed...” the doctor explained.
His body was strewn with scars, just as mine was. He had tattoos just as I did and a vicious scar across his chest.
