  • Eric Lodge was in his late forties and not a man to cross. He was a man who had endured a hard childhood with an equally hard life until he was unceremoniously booted out of the British Army aged twenty-five after almost eight years of service in the Parachute Regiment. The man had come to the attention of a certain Sebastian Radford after having worked at the fledgling Radford Security Limited (RSL) for four years. By the time he was thirty-two, Lodge had become a Director of RSL, and with Radford had embarked on some of the shadier activities which had allowed the developing Radford Group to grow and come to the notice of another man, Gabriel Agreste, who had in turn introduced Radford and Lodge to the likes of William Fraser and Susan Cummings. Lodge had used his military connections to nurture a developing mercenary sideshow which had over the following decade brought in millions of pounds in revenue and made Eric Lodge a very rich man once he had the reins of RSL to himself. The man was squeaky clean as far as any law enforcement was concerned but he was a name on a long list held by the type of people who were not overly concerned with providing enough evidence to satisfy a judge and jury; they were judge, jury, and executioner.
